A lake in Lincoln has been cordoned off after a suspected grenade was discovered, police have stated.

Officers are on the scene at Brayford Pool and a 100-metre cordon has been put in place.

The cordon impacts a part of Brayford Wharf North and the College of Lincoln campus.

Members of the general public have been suggested by Lincolnshire Police to keep away from the realm.
