Mexico’s Sergio Perez has signed a two-year contract extension with Purple Bull that can maintain him with the group till 2024.
The 32-year-old received Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix and is third on this season’s driver standings.
Together with defending champion Max Verstappen, Perez has helped Purple Bull to the highest of the constructor standings after seven races.
Crew boss Christian Horner stated retaining Perez was a “no-brainer”.
