Rail strikes: Drivers from three extra areas to take motion as disruption worsens

Drivers from three extra prepare firms are set to go on strike later this month, worsening already anticipated rail disruption.

Drivers working for Hull Trains, Better Anglia, and Croydon Tramlink have all voted to take industrial motion in separate disputes over pay, union Aslef has introduced.

It comes because the RMT union mentioned as much as 50,000 of its members throughout Community Rail, 13 prepare operators, and the London Underground would stroll out on three days in June – the biggest outbreak of rail industrial action since 1989.

Happening over three days, the strike motion threatens to “shut down the system”.
