The world’s largest cargo ship has arrived within the UK.

The Ever Ace can carry 23,992 customary containers, holding the document for probably the most containers loaded on to a single ship.

The vessel arrived on the Port of Felixstowe in Suffolk, the most important and busiest container port in Britain, on Sunday morning.

The 1,300ft (400m) ship which is operated by Taiwanese delivery firm Evergreen Marine Company, arrived within the UK from Rotterdam.

It was inbuilt 2021, and docked at Felixstowe on its maiden voyage in September that 12 months.
