A total of three people were arrested, including Hayato Ishibashi (21), an unemployed man from Higashiyamato City, Tokyo, and Laine Aoki (22), a self-employed man from Kodaira City, Tokyo.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the three were members of the same group, and in November last year, they gathered in advance with weapons such as metal bats at Noyama Kita Park in Musashimurayama City, and assaulted members of the opposing group. He is suspected of violating the Punishment Act, such as preparatory meetings and violent acts.

All three denied the allegations, stating that they had nothing to do with it.

At the time, about 30 people, aged between 13 and 21, from two groups based in Tachikawa City and Chofu City were gathered at the scene, and a total of 6 people were injured in the conflict. One of them was seriously injured.

A total of 23 people, including the three this time, have been arrested since February for being involved in this conflict, and the Metropolitan Police Department has seized more than 10 weapons such as stun guns, and is investigating the details.

A man in his 80s who lives near the scene of the incident said, “I heard a loud scream in the middle of the night, so when I looked outside, I was surprised to see dozens of young men gathered. Police cars and ambulances also gathered, causing a big commotion.I was so scared that I couldn’t sleep all night.”

After that, he said, “A group like a motorcycle gang has been gathering in a nearby square for a long time, and there have been many commotions. I’m thinking,” he said.
